2006 Redwoods of California car trip

Nature at its finest


Always wanted to see the Redwood that you could
drive a car through.  Well, this was the trip to finally
do it!  Flew to San Francisco, and then drove north
some 200 miles to the Redwood forests.
From San Francisco we first headed to Lake Tahoe.  Stayed at Harrah's and the next day drove all the way around the lake.
Lake Tahoe has nice beaches, restaurants, boat rides, and beautiful scenery.  A very relaxing drive.
Napa Valley.  More than met expectations for what this wine growing region would be like.
And soon after, the first redwoods come into
view !
